Postcard #1.6 Boarding

I had heard good things about boarding at Savona but it would appear to have been incorrect. It is the same system as we encountered in Venice where you are given a number and then wait until your number is called to start the boarding process. We have just been given 17 and the current number is 5! I think we have a wait on our hands (again). Sent from my BlackBerry® wireless device

Postcard #1.3 Varazze

Forget my last remark about it being flat. I have never been through so many tunnels in my life. Absolutely stunning scenery and the sun is out. Just another 20 minutes or more left now until we get to the port of Savona. Sent from my BlackBerry® wireless device

Postcard #1.2 San Pietro Mosezzo

The above being our Geotagging location when the photo was taken. The view is of the Alps as we make our way on the coach to Savona. The sun has come out now as we are making our way to the coast. This part of the country is very flat apart from the spectacular view to our right of the snow topped mountains. TBC Sent from my BlackBerry® wireless device

Postcard #1.1 Milan to Savona

So far everything has run like clockwork. Our flight from Heathrow to Milan was nice and uneventful taking just 1 hour and twenty five minutes. After collecting our luggage we were met by a Costa rep who escorted us to our coach which will take us to Savona. We are the only Brits on the coach which is almost full. I haven’t managed to work out what nationality they all are yet. The weather is cloudy and very much like it was when we left this morning. TBC Sent from my BlackBerry® wireless device

Announcing MSC Musica 22 July – 29 July 2012

Cruise Ship - Ticker

MSC Musica (Photo courtesy of MSC Website)

On the 22 July we will taking the two boys to Venice for a 7 day cruise on the MSC Musica. MSC were enticing us with lots of offers and we eventually decided to take them up one. For the first time we will have an aft facing cabin so are really excited about this prospect as we have heard a lot of good reports about them.
